Sew and Tell Friday!

Today is sew and tell over at amylouwho's. Click here to see what others have been doing!

Earlier this week I made my two year old pajama pants. You can read about it here. Well, after three days of him wearing them I decided I better start another pair so I could wash the first.

Yes, he liked them that much.

Last night about 8:30 I started another pair. I do more quilting than anything so I have smaller pieces of fabric. A couple of months ago I bought a kit because I wanted the pattern and the fabric came with it "free". I wasn't sure what I would do with the fabric but I knew it wouldn't go to waste. I found it last night and that is what I used for his pajama pants. It is an all over snowman print and the cuff is a light blue/green with snowballs.

His 'handmade by mom' tag so he can tell the front from the back:

And as always, he models them for me when they are finished:

He sat next to me as I was sewing at the end and every time I would stop the machine to remove pins or reposition the fabric he would say, "Day done now?" And the fabric couldn't be any more appropriate....it started snowing here a few minutes ago and he is out stomping around in it!

He did change out of the pajama pants first!

Have a great weekend everyone!
