Yesterday afternoon I went out the back door to talk to the construction guy adding onto our house. When I tried to get back in, I realized some little turkey had locked me out. And he wasn't going to let me in until I said "open" in Spanish.
I took German in high school. I don't know what "open" in Spanish is. Now that I think about it, I don't even know what "open" is in German.
Anyway, after me politely yelling at him to let me in and the construction man laughing, he finally felt sorry for me and told me what to say so he could open the door. I guess I need to start watching Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go with him.

For future reference, open in Spanish is "abres". And yes, I learned that from Dora. :)

That is hilarious!!!!!
Ha! Love it! Always an adventure at your house!
Kimberly...oops, I already added your comments before I read the one not to post them! And for clarification (I reread my post and it didn't quite make sense), the construction guy DID NOT help me out. It was Bryson who finally told me what to say :)
Watch that he doesn't start watching Ni-Hao Chi-Lin.
KC~He already does! I am gonna be in big trouble when I have to start speaking Chinese!
